The VW Bug that is... so we drove all the way down to BILBO'S Motorhome Volkswagen campervan specialists in South Godstone, Surrey.
It was clear that they had been in the conversion business for sometime... I took a shine to the VW photo that Dave had in his office... taken in Amsterdam where they used to hole up back in the day of the pant swinging 70's
Having took a turn around the yard and reconsidered our thoughts on what we wanted, we finally sat down in sales office and turned out our requirements to Dave. His less than pushy sales pitch came across as relaxed and easy going. I think he'd met us before and let us hold the floor. We knew what we wanted, we just wanted his confirmation that what we wanted was do-able. It was.
I am now looking forward to receiving a brand spanking new VW campervan conversion with all our trimmings just in time for Xmas. Ho Ho Ho. You never know New Years Eve may be our first night out in it. CANT WAIT
