The Pressure was on last Sunday with the London-Surrey Cycle Classic being the test event for the London 2012 Road race. However, I can safely say the pressure release valve was all the way up with the events organisers doing a fantastic job with the roads and the British cyclists showing their true colours all the way back to the Mall.
Team GB and Team England worked together and Mark Cavendish sailed home to victory with team mates helping all the way.
We were anchored in at Richmond Park and considering the day was sunny and people around were enthusiastic to be there, we had a great day. The best Sunday in a long time being in London. Makes you feel proud to be British.
