A week in Autumn Break mode - books, floral, touch and looking down

My lost day 15 post put me in a foul mood and I couldn't bring myself to re-type and so I have decided to combine the last four days worth of posting's into one.

So BOOKs... glorious books nothing quite like them, bizarrely enough on day 15 I found myself in Foyles in St Pancras station purchasing a wonder to read.  I will drop you a line about it when I have finished.

Next up FLORAL.... aaah that's got to be the brownie floral creation for Victor's birthday that I put my fair hands to :)

Floral Delights

TOUCH.... or touched by our Wedding Caterer's spiel in her August Newsletter this week about our wedding.  I have to say she hit the nail on the head, it was absolutely smashing and more because everyone we hired worked particularly well together and it really hasn't gone un-noticed by us really it hasn't.

Food for thought

LOOKING DOWN... that's a hard one so I am going to equate this to looking back because if I allow myself to look forward in respect to my father, I am not sure where that is going to end.
Today I had a call from mum to say the his dementia has taken yet another point away from us... dad is currently in hospital waiting to be re-assessed a good/bad thing rolled into one.  I sit here in London waiting to hear what help my mum next needs from me... I am a sad today... but this next photo, lets me smile and look back and believe that my dad is still there.
The photo was taken at our wedding by Mark our videographer and it captures a moment I need right now.  Showing a man still with interest in a passion he once had...
