I forgot with the loss of Flo, life in SW London was very quiet and somewhat empty for longer than I really wanted!! However, the day of my birthday I found myself in the old pet shop we used to fill our food stocks for Flo. I couldn't walk past without walking in, now could I, it was to throw out my daemons or that was the excuse anyway. That's when it all went wrong or right, which ever way you want to view it. For me it was the second best pet shop visit I had made in the past 6 years. I found COCO by chance, I had been cooing over her brother and then my heart strings were tugged by this little brown chocolate button that was brought from the back of the shop who apparently they were trying to find a friend for. That was it she had found me. By the weekend we were back in and by late morning she was home with us. Six weeks on it feels like she was always part of the family and I wouldn't be without her. Flo is neither a distant memory or forgotten, she is still in our hearts and CoCo keeps being mistaken for her... but they really are two different bunnies. Flo was our first love, CoCo is our second and hopefully she will cause us as much trouble, angst, love and laughter as our other little lost extended member of the family. She already is ;)
