freakin' lovely time

so valentines weekend passed and we spent it up north in our new little house.  it was a quiet one which ended with a fish and chip supper all tucked up indoors.
so yes my diy origami love birds went down well, these were followed with chocolate - (lindt gets it right every time), a freakin lovely card, balloons from the lovely bonbon balloons and of course my favourite balloon lady in the lakes - kelly, all of this was finished off with vintage freixenet pink cava.   i was in luck too: flowers, a card and a potted rose. we even had time to potter up to orrest head behind the house and give milo a good run. what better way to spend a weekend!

my fella...

of the canine kind, he will be a year old the end of this month and what a year. we wouldn't be without him, he's added an extra dimension to our lives and is central to all our decision making. bonkers you may think but he is part of our family! pretty damn edible don't you think though!?

it isn't going to be long now (5 days in fact),  so yes we are

and why because of this little man

suitably named, but not after 

20 days into this world

on sunday we had the pleasure to spend some time with this lovely bunch.  they are all currently taking great steps into the new world and  we can't wait for one of them to become part of our little family.

hope is a great mum and the babies are all so adorable.
